📝- Meanwhile, Jamie Vardy has seen Rangers emerge as the latest suitors for his services. The Mail via The Mirror suggests that the Scottish giants are interested in signing him on a free transfer.
👋 - Danny Ward, in the meantime could be joining Leicester in the Championship next season, with The Sun revealing that Wrexham are eyeing a move for the goalkeeper.
🗣️ - Elsewhere, Jordan Ayew has broken his silence on his future, admitting to Flashscore that a departure could be on the cards.
He said: “I have one more year left on my contract, and I need to go on holiday and see what is going to happen. When you get to this kind of level, you can’t decide too early because staying is an option and leaving also is an option, but I am happy there.

🇧🇪 - Het Nieuwsblad report that Wout Faes staying at Leicester is ‘out of the question’, with an ‘inevitable departure on the cards.
💰 - Leicestershire Live’s Jordan Blackwell has taken a look at the current situation at the King Power Stadium, revealing which players could be sold and signed over the coming weeks.
🤔 - Rob Tanner of The Athletic has also done similar, revealing which positions will be of priority to Leicester as they approach the transfer window.

THE DUGOUT
❌ - But first, the managerial situation needs sorting. According to Rob Dorsett, Leicester chiefs still haven’t spoken to Ruud van Nistelrooy regarding his position despite Danny Rohl, Liam Rosenior and Russell Martin all featuring on the Foxes’ shortlist.
🔵 - Martin will not become Leicester’s next manager. The former Southampton boss has been appointed at Rangers, penning a three-year deal in the process.
🟡 - Another candidate out of the running is Liam Manning. The former Leicester target has left Bristol City for Championship rivals Norwich.
🔴 - Middlesbrough have reportedly discussed a potential move for Leicester target Danny Rohl after sacking Michael Carrick, as per EFL Analysis. Meanwhile, they suggest that Rohl ‘really wants’ the Leicester job.
👍 - Ex-Leicester star Emile Heskey has given his verdict on the Liam Rosenior rumours and suggested he could be ‘blown away’ by the facilities on offer in the East Midlands. He was speaking to Football League World.
🤷♂️ - Leicestershire Live has taken a look at why a decision over the manager is taking so long. It is suggested that it could have a lot to do with the current financial situation at the club.
💸 - The i News carry a similar story, suggesting that the club’s PSR concerns are delaying a decision. It is also reported that neither Sean Dyche nor Danny Rohl have had any contact from Leicester.

It’s all a bit of deja vu at the minute. In fact, I’m not totally sure if I’ve written that exact thing in last week’s edition!
The fact that a decision over the manager’s position is taking so long is frankly disturbing. And while it’s true that a delay could be down to financial elements, there needs to be some movement either way.
And once that happens, Leicester can really get down to business in the transfer market. As it stands, they’re just allowing themselves to get even further behind their rivals. The situation needs sorting. Now.
