TRANSFERS
🇪🇸 - Jamie Vardy is in line for a shock move to Spain, with the striker earmarked as a potential signing for Valencia, according to The Sun.
👋 - Vardy was one of three senior professionals to depart the King Power this summer. Leicester City have also confirmed the exits of Daniel Iversen and Danny Ward, as well as eight young players.
✅ - Goalkeeper Iversen has already found his next club, having penned a deal with Championship side Preston North End. Read the full release here.
👀 - Fellow Danish stopper Mads Hermansen could potentially follow him out the door. According to James Ducker of The Telegraph [paywall], Manchester United are keeping an eye on Hermansen.
🐺 - Bilal El Khannouss might also be on the way out of the King Power Stadium. As per GiveMeSport, Vitor Pereira’s side have set their sights on him as a potential alternative to Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott.
👊 - According to Mail Online, Leicester are also facing a fight to keep Lorenz Hutchinson with Nottingham Forest chasing the 17-year-old.
🦅 - Wout Faes could potentially be set to link up with Serie A side Lazio. It is suggested by Il Messaggero that the Italian team are keeping tabs on his future amid hope they can sign him in a cut price deal.
🇩🇰 - Denmark manager Brian Riemer has claimed he expects Jannik Vestergaard to leave Leicester this season having named him in his most recent squad. Find out what he said via Bold.dk.

📝 - Regarding incomings, Leicester are among three clubs reportedly interested in Coventry City star Jack Rudoni. It is suggested by EFL Analysis that they face competition from Sheffield United and Southampton.
✍️ - Leicester wonderkid Jeremy Monga is getting ‘closer’ to signing a new deal with the Foxes that is hoped to ward off interest from Manchester City. Read more via LeicestershireLive.
🔙 - Jeffrey Schlupp could still return to the club this summer. Crystal Palace have announced that the Leicester-linked winger has left Selhurst Park at the end of his contract.
🌠 - Leicester have reportedly made a move for Abdoul Karim Traoré. Foot Mercato report that the Foxes have tabled an offer for the Bourg-en-Bresse youngster.
🔍 - The Foxes also have an interest in IF Brommapojkarna starlet Ezekiel Alladoh. Now Expressen, via Fotball Transfers suggests that they have scouted the youngster this year.
🇧🇷 - Leicester have also reportedly submitted an enquiry for Flamengo defender Cleiton, whose contract expires at the end of this year. Read more here.
THE DUGOUT
❌ - Ruud van Nistelrooy is set to be sacked by Leicester over the coming days and will be replaced by ex-Southampton boss Russell Martin, as per talkSPORT’s Geoff Peters.
🗣️ - Speaking after Leicester’s defeat to Bournemouth on the last day of the season, Van Nistelrooy told Sky Sports that he remained ‘open’ to talks over his future.
🐉 - Van Nistelrooy’s assistant Brian Barry-Murphy could also follow him out. As per Darren Witcoop, he is a leading contender for the vacant Cardiff City job.
🦉 - On the topic of coaches, Sheffield Wednesday’s Henrik Pedersen is being eyed as an addition to Leicester’s technical team should Russell Martin be appointed as Van Nistelrooy’s replacement according to The Star.

Frankly, thank goodness this season is over. It has been dire from start to finish.
While it has been disappointing, it’s getting even more frustrating seeing a real lack of action from those at the top of the club. Van Nistelrooy has not been told whether he has a job for next season, while plenty of players are facing uncertain futures.
He’s right, hesitation now is putting Leicester on the back foot for next season. Let’s hope there’s some more movement over the next week either way.
